Services

We specialise in the areas of interpretation and environmental design as well as graphic design and wildlife illustration. We offer a creative and bespoke design service producing outdoor interpretation panels and interpretive elements and features appropriate within the landscape setting.

We have wide experience working with community groups and community associations helping them produce interpretative outputs on Heritage Lottery funded projects and offer advice and estimates for grant applications. We have produced Interpretation Management Plans and creative interpretive projects for a wide range of clients including Natural England, Leader, Scottish Natural Heritage, the Forestry Commission, Local Authorities and other public bodies. We have worked in sites up and down the country from the north of Scotland and the Islands to the south of England.

Projects

Horden Denes Interpretation - the project involved the design of an integrated suite of interpretation including: Corten sculpture of a butterfly, Oak totems with GRP interpretation, Seating and carved features.

Sunderland to Seaham - a coastal interpretation scheme that followed the England Coast Path. We created a series of themes and panels that included laser cut steel sculptures, maritime frames and oak totems. We worked with local fabricators in order to keep much of the grant within the project area and involved local groups and people in the development of the interpretative themes.

Copeland Coastal Interpretation - a coastal interpretation scheme which followed the England Coast Path - this time on the west coast. This project was community driven and included audio posts, tactile rubbing discs, coastal litter information and interpretation panels.

Ecclefechan Interpretation - a community driven interpretation project involving schools, local groups and other stakeholders in the development of interpretive themes. The panels include zinc etched signs and bespoke frames. We also produced sand stone totems using Scots words from a joint project we ran with the nursery children and the day centre.

Lincolnshire Grazing Marshes Toposcope
- a bronze cast interpretation piece. The bronze included themes and poetry which linked and places near and far. We used local stone for the plinth and local labour for the build.
