The English Heritage Interpretation Team is looking for an Interpretation Officer for its Free Sites. The post is for one-year, to cover maternity leave, from 1 June 2010 until 31 May 2011 at a salary of £29,709 p.a.

The job involves interpretation for the unstaffed sites: over 250 places ranging from the largest and most complex Iron Age hillfort in Britain to the little mausoleum built by Earl Grey to house both his and his family's remains.You will produce interpretation plans for the annual Free Sites programme and you will also co-ordinate and project manage their installation and ongoing maintenance.
