Review of HLF

The government has conducted a tailored review of the HLF and National Heritage Memorial Fund. A tailored review seeks to provide robust challenge to and assurance of the continuing need for government sponsored organisations, and to review their functions, form, performance, and governance arrangements. The review makes recommendations on how the HLF can strengthen the effectiveness of its performance in four broad areas: Strategy, Accessibility, Efficiency and Governance. There are a series of recommendations in the review and the HLF is due to publish its response to the review and it’s new strategy “soon”.This link below takes you to the Review, Annexes and Ministerial Statement.
