Organising Programmes of Guided Walks and Events

Losehill Hall, Peak District National Park

This course is ideal for people in countryside, leisure and heritage organisations, who put together and run programmes of guided activities for local communities and visitors.

It's led by AHI Fellow Neil Diment. Neil will help you to:
  • Consider all the key elements of putting together a programme: training leaders; publicity and promotion; attracting new audiences; evaluation; assessing risk; and ensuring accessibility.
  • Use ideas to enliven individual events and whole programmes.
  • Come up with practical solutions to problems.
  • Use key tools for interpretation, celebration and involvement.
The fee is £360 (including lunches).
