Poetry and prose for people at places

Newcastle upon Tyne

17 September 2008

Many people like words that sparkle at interpretive sites. This workshop is intended for those who are wordsmiths themselves, or who savour good writing in interpretation and would like to share the exploration of their own talents.

This workshop is on the morning before AHI's annual conference: an ideal way to kick off a stimulating few days discussing interpretation. It will be run by Michael Hamish Glen, of QuiteWrite, part of Touchstone Heritage Management Consultants. The venue is Henderson Hall, University of Newcastle.

For the workshop, you are asked to bring along favourite examples, enjoy Michael's own choice, discuss ways of working with words, and create your own 'words as art'.
